Cheap Single Pushchairs
The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you're on a tight budget and don't need a stroller which can also be used as car seat carriers. It features a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.
It's easy to push, and it is solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. Plus, it's a dream to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has built a reputation as the most lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its extremely nimble handling and fold that fits in the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. The latest version has independent suspension on all four wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer, allowing it to 'perfectly traverse all types and terrains'.
The bent fabric bassinet, the base YOYO2 frame and 6months of colour pack come together to create a chic pushchair with a subtle elegant design. The frame itself weighs just over a kilogram and is so light you can easily lift it from the box (and do it using one hand).
The hood, for example, snaps on the YOYO2 in a calm manner. It is machine washable up to 30 degrees which helps prevent stains caused by smushed rice cakes and carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as an infant stroller. It can also be converted to a stroller by 6 months with the YOYO connect additional chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is an excellent choice for parents looking for a versatile stroller. It can be converted from a stroller to a wagon just by flipping the handle, so parents can choose the mode they prefer for their adventure. The wagon is able to accommodate one or two children from 6 months to 5 years old. It comes with a large storage basket that will hold everything you need on the go.
The Xplore also has two canopies that rotate from the front to the back, offering ample sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This might not be suitable for long trips or napping.
The frame of the Xplore wagon is solid and sturdy, but it does not flex as much as other wagons we have test. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it's not able to lock tight when folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and it can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.
3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents seeking a second stroller that is affordable. It scored high in our Strollers and Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions, which means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to lift and store in a trunk for your car. It also comes with a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels, as well as two large hanging storage bags.
It did better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage, and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.
The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together using an average manual, and none of the components required tools. It's lacking some features that we consider essential for double strollers. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and adjustable leg rests.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair, and is advertised as a travel system for urban use. It is designed to accommodate infants from birth until approximately 3.5 years old, easily changing between a seat and a carrycot with only a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and a reversible car seat.
It's really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand reclining of the seat as well as the massive shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child in and out of the seat quickly. Although it is narrow, the pushchair handled the everyday bumps well and went through doorways without a hitch.
The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position, or they can rotate. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel during our walk on an uneven path. It handled the situation well, although it seemed a little rougher.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2
Baby Jogger is a household name for their three-wheeled, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also have a wide selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit into the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we test, but since it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-made. It is easy to maneuver over different terrains and even with two children, a shopping bag and other items.
Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that are able to be lower to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers faces.
It doesn't have a lot of storage space, however it does have a large basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that's suitable for babies.
The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro, and can cause sleepy babies to wake up.
The Duet is an angled stroller that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned so that they face each the other. They can also be positioned to face the parents.
